Teachers To Go is looking for a patient and kind certified teacher to provide 1-to-1 private homeschool education in-person for a 13 year old girl in 7th grade at her home in New Albany, IN 47150 (greater Louisville, KY). A female teacher is preferred, since the student is female. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position teaching one student Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings 9:30am-12:30pm that pays $50/hour.

Looking for a certified classroom teacher who will use the parent's chosen curriculum (parents are open to collaborating with the right teacher) to teach all subjects 1-to-1 to a 13 year old girl who has anxiety in regular school. (The parents will choose an existing curriculum or collaborate with the teacher.) The right teacher will be trustworthy, genuinely kind, patient, reactive to the student, and flexible about the learning space.

Minimum BA/BS and state certification is required (any state), and also a minimum of two years professional full-time classroom teaching experience. (7th grade is preferred.) Must be comfortable assisting middle school students with multiple subjects. Teacher should be able to use appropriate chosen curricula, and be flexible about the learning space in a way that is reactive to the student.

Requirements: must have teacher certification, at least a BA and 2 years prior classroom teaching experience. (Full-time professional middle school teacher experience is preferred.) Must be willing to collaborate with the parents and provide regular updates, must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, must be willing to travel to the home of the student in New Albany IN 47150 Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings from 9:30am-12:30pm (or other times three hours per each day), must be willing to interview via live video chat and in person in New Albany IN 47150.
